Never be intimidated by a title. What’s to stop you standing for the position at election time? The Mayor will have probably got over the novelty of the idea and realise it is just plain hard work!….
PS I loved your comment at the top about “being patient with stupidity, but not with those who are proud of it”…..Well said. It is one thing to be stupid, but quite another to act as if one is stupid!!! and think others won’t notice!
don’t feel alienated drscurvy - I am sure we would all love to read your posts and comments. you can ignore, participate or just grin at the whole nook village concept. much of nook seems to co-exist quite happily alongside it. look forward to reading more of your offerings.

ohhh don’t feel alienated dr. scurvy, we’ve got a dr of the mind but we need a health dr and you’d get the fringe benefit of nurse mercy as your assitant (remember though dave will be watching, so you’ll have to behave).

yes, i need a dr. my mind thinks i have a young heart, but my heart yearns for some more tissues and less cholesterol. can you advise?
